You have to be willing to put in a lot of effort but I assure you it is well worth it.
You need a nice fattening non-flavored protein powder. Put it in everything you possibly can. Everything. Mix it into their milk, creamer, leftovers, sugar, salt, parmesan cheese, all of their seasonings where it won't be obvious, etc. Make some jello shots and mix it in. Leave them unattended. Make brownies and load it up with butter and protein powder. Leave them unattended. You get the idea.
